You will be given great benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Competitive Salary, and Paid Time Off.RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Field Crew Foreman, you will lead your crew for installation of stairs, rails and miscellaneous metals. <ul><li>Provide skills vital for the installation of stairs, rails and misc. metals</li><li>Coordinate daily activities with General Contractor </li><li>Read and layout in accordance with blueprints</li><li>Instruct and organize crews, tools, materials and installation of stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals</li><li>Ensure crew members have proper certifications, are qualified to operate equipment and/or tools and follow job-site safety regulations</li><li>File incident reports as necessary to report any observed safety violations or situations that may affect the safety of any crew member or other tradesmen</li><li>Complete daily field reports and vehicle inspection reports</li><li>Monitor the maintenance of service truck, welders, tools and equipment and inform Field Operations Manager of any issues </li><li>Responsible for the timely completion of Daily Field reports, Safety reports, Time and Material tickets and any other documents required by the General Contractor</li><li>Serve as Company's Safety representative on-site (require that all personnel wear proper P.P.E. and follow Site Specific Safety plans laid out for job) </li><li>Responsible for reviewing Tool-Box Shop Talks, job-site safety and general safety regulations </li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Experience in the misc. metals field for a minimum of 5+ years preferred</li><li>Supervisory experience preferred</li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, Tool-Box Shop Talks and safety procedures, Operator's Manuals and maintenance instructions </li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals</li><li>Understanding of angles and degrees</li><li>Working knowledge of AWS D1.1. and the following processes, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW and GTAW</li><li>Current welder certifications or ability to pass weld test</li></ul> Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.Hanover Iron Works, Inc. is a Drug Free Workplace where post-offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Hanover Iron Works, Inc. is a participant in the Federal E-Verify Program.
