Hang drywall on walls and ceilings, cutting to fit. Patch drywall to remove any seams and fill gaps. Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed.Job Description: ESSENTIAL RESPONSBILITES AND DUTIES: <ul><li>Trim rough edges from wall to maintain even joints, fit and fasten wallboard or sheetrock into specified position</li><li>Measure and mark cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trim</li><li>Install blanket installation in-between studs and tacks plastic moisture barrier over installation</li><li>Assemble and install metal framing and decorative trim for windows, doorways and vents</li><li>Read blueprints and other specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures, material and tool requirements</li><li>Lay out reference lines and points, computes position of framing, and marks position, using chalk line</li><li>Suspend angle iron grid and channel iron from ceiling</li><li>Install horizontal and vertical metal or wooden studs for attachment of wallboard on interior walls, using hand tools</li><li>Cut metal or wood framing, angle and channel iron, and trim to size, using cutting tools</li><li>Inspect furring's, mechanical mountings, and masonry surface for plumbness and level, using spirit or water level</li><li>Layout walls from gridlines</li><li>Fabricate box headers and king stud assemblies</li><li>Attach framing to floor using powder actuated fasteners or screws</li><li>Frame window and door opening systems</li><li>Build and install box headers</li><li>Frame for openings for mechanical and other openings in accordance with structural drawings</li><li>Ensure walls are level and plumb</li><li>Install door jambs in framing as required</li><li>Frame block-outs for doors, windows and other openings</li><li>Install access panels in framing, black iron ceiling systems, grid ceiling systems, drywall, sheathing or cement board in accordance with specifications or local building codes</li><li>Install flashing at windows and doors and sound and fire caulking as required</li><li>May supervise small crews</li><li>Complete other responsibilities as assigned</li></ul>SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: <ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience as a journeyman drywall framer or similar role</li><li>Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail</li><li>Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment</li><li>Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt</li><li>Must have knowledge of fire rated assemblies and local building codes</li><li>Understand fall protection systems and working from heights</li><li>Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions</li><li>Uphold Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion and Excellence at all times</li><li>Adhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and procedures</li></ul><img alt=" " height="1" src="https://ars2.equest.com/?response_id=d306aafad4fefd7d010b533d10c20536&view" width="1"/>
