Job Description Job Title: Drywall Framer Overview: Our valued client is seeking an experienced Drywall Framer to join their construction team. This individual will be responsible for building, assembling, and installing metal and/or woodframing for drywall installation in commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction practices, safety procedures, and the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout.</li><li>Measure, cut, assemble, and secure wood or metal stud framing for drywall.</li><li>Install backing, bracing, and blocking as required for fixtures and finishes.</li><li>Ensure framing is level, plumb, and square before drywall installation.</li><li>Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure project deadlines are met.</li><li>Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.</li><li>Perform quality checks to confirm structural integrity and alignment.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience as a Drywall Framer or in a similar carpentry/construction role.</li><li>Ability to read and understand construction documents and drawings.</li><li>Proficiency in using framing tools, equipment, and measuring devices.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality work.</li><li>Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights as needed.</li><li>OSHA training or other safety certifications preferred.</li></ul>Compensation & Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience.</li><li>Opportunities for overtime.</li><li>Benefits package available (details provided by employer).</li><li>Career growth opportunities within a stable company.</li></ul> Work Environment: This position requires working in a variety of settings, including new construction, remodels, and commercial job sites.
