Responsibilities <ul><li>Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone by assisting with questions, locating merchandise, and processing special orders.</li><li>Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment, including daily housekeeping tasks.</li><li>Inform customers about upcoming promotions and new products.</li><li>Assist customers with loading products into their vehicles when needed.</li><li>Stock and merchandise products according to planograms and maintain accurate signage.</li><li>Restock shelves and pallet displays as needed.</li><li>Help conduct regular inventory counts.</li><li>Face and front product throughout the store at the start and end of each shift, and as needed during the day.</li><li>Support store staff with various operational tasks as required.</li><li>Remain vigilant and responsive to potential theft, following store policy.</li><li>Attend all scheduled staff meetings.</li><li>Adhere to all store policies and safety procedures.</li><li>Be trained and able to cut keys and mix paint.</li><li>Operate a forklift or skid steer to unload shipments from semis.</li><li>Load full pallets of product for customer pickup.</li><li>Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate variable freight delivery times.</li><li>Promptly restock outdoor pallet displays as needed.</li><li>Help maintain and perform minor upkeep on equipment used for freight and loading.</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Strong customer service skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude.</li><li>General product knowledge with a willingness to learn and grow.</li><li>Self-motivated and organized with the ability to solve problems independently.</li><li>Basic sales knowledge and understanding of customer engagement.</li><li>Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Word.</li><li>Strong math, reading, writing, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.</li><li>Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.</li><li>At least 18 years of age.</li></ul>Goals <ul><li>Increase store sales by closing transactions confidently and promoting the loyalty program.</li><li>Continuously expand product knowledge across all departments.</li><li>Develop into a versatile employee who can assist in multiple areas.</li><li>Take personal interest in the products we sell and offer suggestions for new items or merchandising improvements.</li><li>Grow into a leadership or mentorship role by helping train new employees and sharing product and retail knowledge.</li></ul>
