The unit specializes in the treatment of a multitude of conditions and diagnoses including but not limited to chest pain, MI, CHF, cardiac arrhythmias, post procedures (i.e PCI, ICD, permanent pacemakers), trauma, stable DKA, and stroke/TIA. The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment.
