Oversee comprehensive aggregate production facility operations, including quarry development, crushing, material handling, and subcontractor management. Manage daily construction aggregates operations to produce high-quality materials while maintaining cost-efficiency.

SUMMARY: Direct and coordinate all mining production operations while maintaining strict oversight of safety and environmental standards. Manage the acquisition, setup, upkeep, and storage of all facility plant and equipment. Provide leadership and supervision in alignment with the organization’s established code of conduct. RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Advance safety awareness and continuous improvement per company initiatives.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with government regulations and industry safety protocols.</li><li>Oversee comprehensive aggregate production facility operations, including quarry development, crushing, material handling, and subcontractor management.</li><li>Manage daily construction aggregates operations to produce high-quality materials while maintaining cost-efficiency.</li><li>Direct personnel in conventional production tasks and supervise daily activities within the mining environment.</li><li>Utilize strong leadership to manage multiple shifts and make decisions based on corporate policies and business plans.</li><li>Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 7 years aggregates operations management.</li><li>Proven expertise in aggregate production management and a deep understanding of mining equipment.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of MSHA regulations and a dedicated commitment to workplace safety.</li><li>Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize complex tasks.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and foster employee ownership of quality and production goals.</li><li>Strong financial, communication, and supervisory skills.</li><li>Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as necessary.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li><li>A positive, team-oriented attitude and a record of reliable attendance.</li></ul>

In this role, our construction technicians move and replace vaults, dig in new conduit or vaults, relocate new conduit and fiber, locating cables and conduit for added properties.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain existing and construct new plant as follows:<ul style="list-style-type:circle"><li>Dig either by hand or with use of trenching machine to place cable underground.</li><li>Pull fiber-optic cable through conduit. </li><li>Remove and replace hand holes and fiber markers.</li><li>Repair damaged underground plant as need arises. </li></ul></li><li>Installation, repair, and maintenance of inside fiber optic cables and MDU boxes. </li><li>Based on locate tickets from Sunshine One-Call, accurately locate and mark existing underground fiber cables to protect plant as needed.</li><li>Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quality service and identifying customer needs</li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and state and local regulations</li><li>Assist in fiber cable damage restoration efforts.</li><li>Assist with and troubleshoot systems, as necessary.</li><li>Other job duties as assigned.</li></ul>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li style="margin-bottom:2px;margin-left:8px">Ability to construct small networks for MDU, and public spaces using off the shelf solutions to meet demand.</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Ability to think strategically and execute tactically while delivering results in a high-change, fast-paced work environment.</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Ability to collaborate and partner with various teams across the organization to drive initiatives and results.</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Proven ability to deliver expected performance results and ability to drive to the next level.</li><li style="margin-top:2px;margin-left:8px">Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, written, communication and presentation skills.</li><li style="margin-top:2px;margin-left:8px">Must be available and willing to respond to the needs of a 24/7 operation.</li><li style="margin-top:2px;margin-left:8px">Must be willing and able to work mandatory overtime after hours and weekends and remain in service during outages until resolved.</li><li style="margin-top:2px;margin-left:8px">Work independently using sound judgement on all projects.</li><li style="margin-top:2px;margin-left:8px">Full accountability in safety, productivity, quality, workmanship, and customer service</li><li style="margin-top:2px;margin-left:8px">Ability to effectively solve problems with little or no direction.</li><li style="margin-top:2px;margin-left:8px">Computer skills sufficient to learn new applications and systems.</li><li style="margin-top:2px;margin-left:8px">Use excellent hearing and listening skills to receive detailed information.</li><li style="margin-top:2px;margin-left:8px">Ability to drive during nighttime and adverse weather conditions.</li><li style="margin-top:2px;margin-left:8px">Must have valid driver’s license with a clear MVR.</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Must be able to pass standard background check and drug screening.</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Must be able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly.</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Must be able and willing to climb ladders up to 28 ft.</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Must be able and willing to work in adverse weather conditions.</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Maintain vehicle in a clean and professional manner.</li><li style="margin-left:8px">Dress in approved IQ Fiber clothing and arrive at work in a neat and professional manner.</li></ul>PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li style="margin-left:8px">High School Diploma or GED</li><li style="margin-left:8px">A minimum of one (1) year telecommunications construction experience preferred. </li><li style="margin-left:8px">Must be able to work outside in all elements of weather</li></ul>Other Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
