Qualifications<ul><li>Manufacturing, Industrial or Process Engineering experience.</li><li>Ability and desire to serve a variety of industrial markets (i.e., aerospace, space and defense, marine & transportation infrastructure, civil construction, etc.).</li><li>Experience in sales and cost estimating.</li><li>Experience in all facets of project management.</li><li>Experience with Autodesk 3-D modeling software.</li><li>Familiarity with welding and machining trades/metal fabrication.</li><li>Strong written communication skills, including experience with writing work instructions, procedures, and proposals.</li><li>Must have a positive attitude, commitment to meeting deadlines and be dependable.</li><li>Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.</li></ul> Specific Activities - Activities include but not limited to:<ul><li>Estimate work and administer contracts.</li><li>Solicit quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.</li><li>Purchase materials.</li><li>Use Autodesk Inventor to create detailed 3D designs for complex projects, specifying dimensions and materials related to the project.</li><li>Communicate, consult with, and participate in design and manufacturing support.</li><li>Oversee scope and work with a team to manage schedule, cost, risks, and resources.</li><li>Lead project meetings and ensure fabrication is to technical documents, plans and specifications.</li></ul> Education and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a degree in engineering.</li><li>Four to ten years related experience and/or training in the fields of project management, construction management, engineering, and manufacturing design; or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.</li></ul> Work Location. We've been doing it since 1991, and we've built a reputation on delivering work that holds up.<h1>What the Role Actually Looks Like</h1>This isn't a desk-only PM role, and it's not a "babysit the job" role either.You'll be responsible for running projects end-to-end - planning, execution, and closeout - across a mix of shop fabrication and field construction.On any given week, you'll:<ul><li>Stay ahead of schedule and cost - not just report on them</li><li>Work directly with superintendents to keep field execution moving</li><li>Coordinate with the fabrication shop on sequencing, priorities, and delivery</li><li>Resolve issues quickly - often with a phone call or a site visit instead of another email chain</li><li>Communicate directly with clients and owner reps to keep decisions moving</li><li>Manage subcontractors and suppliers with clear expectations and follow-through</li><li>Jump in where needed -reviewing a change order, supporting a bid, or setting up a new project</li></ul>You'll have multiple projects at different stages. You'll work directly with shop leads and QC to align schedules, sequencing, and delivery. Quality isn't optional here.</h1><h1>Project Engineers & Estimators Detail-oriented and capable. When communication is clear and timely, this group makes your job significantly easier - especially on submittals, takeoffs, and project startup.</h1><h1>Clients & Owner Representatives Many of our clients are repeat partners - refineries, municipalities, and agencies. They expect proactive communication and follow-through. You'll be the face of the project.</h1><h1>Company Leadership Accessible and involved.
