At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry as a safety officer or consultant; Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, or related field, preferred; OSHA 30-hour Construction Certification, required; OSHA 500/510 Trainer Cards and credentials such as CHST, OHST, or CSP, desired; CSP (Certified Safety Professional) desired; Bilingual English – Spanish (oral and written) proficiency, required; Strong knowledge of construction regulations; Proven experience in safety training, ability to perform risk assessments and proficiency in incident reporting software. Proficiency in the MS Office suite of products; Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; Astute time management, attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, planning, effective multi-tasking, problem-solving, analytical, follow-through skills; Ability to work effectively alone and within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative team environment; Ability to walk long distances, climb ladders and stand for extended periods of time in various weather conditions.
