We are seeking an experienced and driven Civil / Structural Engineering Manager to lead our civil/structural team and serve as a senior technical expert across multi-disciplinary projects. In this role, you will provide strategic oversight, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality project delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. 
This position is ideal for a Professional Engineer who thrives in a leadership capacity and enjoys balancing design responsibilities with department management.


<hr/>Key Responsibilities: Technical & Project Leadership<ul><li>Serve as lead Civil/Structural Engineer on complex, multi-discipline projects.
	</li><li>Provide advanced design expertise in steel structures, concrete, foundations, and masonry.
	</li><li>Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of civil/structural drawings and calculations.
	</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and client requirements.
	</li><li>Review contractor bids, create bid tabulations, and support construction teams with field issue resolution.
</li></ul>Team Management & Development<ul><li>Supervise and schedule civil/structural department personnel.
	</li><li>Conduct performance reviews, mentor team members, and support professional development.
	</li><li>Participate in interviewing and hiring processes; foster intangible skills (e.g., emotional intelligence, dependability, versatility).
</li></ul>Operational Excellence<ul><li>Maintain and improve department procedures, standards, and digital tools.
	</li><li>Promote efficiency through continuous improvement in design and drafting workflows.
	</li><li>Coordinate effectively across project teams, clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
</li></ul><hr/>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
	</li><li>Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
	</li><li>10+ years of experience in industrial sectors (e.g., Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Polymers/Resins, Manufacturing)
	</li><li>Proven ability to provide PE seal for permitting processes
	</li><li>Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and civil/structural design principles
	</li><li>Project management experience in civil/structural engineering
	</li><li>Ability to perform fieldwork, including work at heights
	</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, STAAD, STAAD Foundation, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
</li></ul> Preferred:<ul><li>Familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, Tekla Tedds, Hilti PROFIS, RAM Elements, or similar software
