The role provides technical leadership to construction management teams and coordinates with structural, seismic, tunneling, and advisory stakeholders to ensure design integrity and compliance.</p><hr/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><p>Lead development of civil design criteria (grading, drainage, utilities, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with structural, seismic, tunneling, and advisory panel stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Support planning, permitting, environmental, and ROW investigations</p></li><li><p>Manage progress and schedules for technical deliverables</p></li><li><p>Oversee civil team support for construction contract packages</p></li><li><p>Review RFIs, Design Variance Requests (DVRs), and contractor submittals</p></li><li><p>Support directive memo development and issuance</p></li><li><p>Provide technical oversight to regional engineering teams</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with project procedures, V&V processes, and system interface requirements</p></li></ul><hr/><h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><li><p>15+ years of civil engineering experience on major transportation or infrastructure projects</p></li><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline</p></li><li><p><strong>California Registered Professional Engineer (PE)</strong></p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of:</p><ul><li><p>Utility relocation</p></li><li><p>California State Contracting Manual</p></li><li><p>Caltrans Chapter 13 Utility Relocation Manual</p></li><li><p>Applicable Federal and California statutes</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Experience across planning, preliminary design, final design, and construction phases</p></li></ul><hr/><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li><p>Strong construction management background</p></li><li><p>Experience on large-scale transit programs</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to evaluate engineering solutions on complex programs</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p></li></ul><hr/><p>#CivilEngineering #TransportationInfrastructure #CaliforniaPE</p><hr/></div></div></div></article></div></div><div id="thread-bottom-container"><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div id="prompt-textarea" spellcheck="false" translate="no"> </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><br/><br/><b><i>Job Posted by ApplicantPro</i></b><i></i><br/>
