When not rooming, MAs are responsible for requesting images and merging into PACS, handling faxes for reports, handling after hour messages, sterile instruments, calling patients to schedule out of the New Patient Referral and Smoking Cessation work queue, working on in-basket messages, retrieving NAVI Discs, restocking rooms, emptying sharps/biohazard, assisting front desk with answering phones.
