We make healthcare run better.Job DescriptionResponsibilities<ul><li>Calling on the non-acute care government market including emergency management, EMS, medical examiner offices, prisons, department of health, and board of commissioners offices</li><li>Selling clinical and operational solutions to all levels of decision makers including owners, senior clinical officers and purchasing/procurement managers</li><li>Selling products that include incontinence, skin care, DME, advance wound care, minor procedure kits, and gloves</li><li>Developing a strong knowledge base about Medline's very large product catalog and numerous value added programs and services</li><li>Developing meaningful relationships with new customers and deepening relationships with existing customers</li><li>Cold calling and prospecting to develop new business opportunities</li><li>Presenting new products and initiatives; educating customers on current industry trends and regulations</li><li>Preparing bids and negotiating contracts</li><li>Taking ownership and leadership of your territory - growing it like your own business</li></ul>Required Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience OR  at least 5 years of quota-based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full-cycle sales experience.</li><li>Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization;</li><li>Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business; build consensus</li><li>Complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels;</li><li>Background in commissioned, tangible product sales;</li><li>Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment;</li><li>Ability to present multiple product lines;</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills;</li><li>Stable work history;</li><li>Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook</li><li>Due to the nature of an outside sales representative position, the ability to drive a car, travel 80%, and interact with healthcare providers on site is required.</li></ul>  Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. This is a fully commissioned position with additional incentive compensation. This role includes a first-year guarantee of $100,000 with the potential to earn more. This role is bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
