New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensing are encouraged to apply. Advance your career with RQ Construction as a Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) supporting a large-scale ambulatory care and dental clinic project located at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This role is part of our Field Operations team and requires on-site participation.The CQCM is responsible for developing and administering a project-specific quality control plan. This includes ensuring all work complies with contractual standards, maintaining timely and accurate documentation, coordinating quality activities across the project team, and fostering strong client relationships-all while reflecting RQ's core values.Compensation & Benefits This position offers a salary range of $130,000-$160,000, along with a comprehensive international assignment package. Benefits include employer-provided housing for you and eligible dependents, a company vehicle, covered utilities, and company-paid quarterly travel to your home location. Additional offerings include potential eligibility for the foreign earned income exclusion, full medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, life insurance, a health savings account, and paid time off.Basic Requirements Applicants must have prior experience as a Quality Control Manager on healthcare construction projects, be willing to relocate to Guantanamo Bay, and possess a valid passport.Experience & Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in commercial construction (or equivalent), including roles such as Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or QC Manager</li><li>At least 2 years of direct experience serving as a Quality Control Manager</li><li>Active USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification required; RMS/QCS knowledge preferred (training available)</li><li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year program (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred)</li><li>Specialized inspection certifications and licenses are highly desirable</li><li>Previous work on medical or healthcare facilities strongly preferred</li><li>LEED Accredited Professional (AP/AP+) or Green Associate credentials are a plus</li><li>Required certifications include EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour (training available if needed)</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications required</li><li>Familiarity with construction management software such as Viewpoint/Vista and RMS/QCS preferred</li></ul>About RQ Construction Based in Carlsbad, California, RQ Construction is a full-service design-build firm managing projects across the United States and internationally.
