Own capital strategy and financing: fundraising rounds and instruments (convertibles, priced equity, debt), scenario and dilution modeling, capital allocation, and runway planning, partnering with the CEO and President on fundraising strategy and execution, as well as annual 409A valuation cycle. Oversee state tax, corporate registration, and multistate regulatory compliance, including oversight of nexus analysis, foreign qualifications, state registrations, income and franchise tax obligations, annual reports, and related filings, in partnership with outside tax and legal advisors.
