The Assistant Director partners with Perioperative Services, Anesthesia, Surgical Services, Nursing Operations, Patient Placement, Bed Management, Environmental Services, Sterile Processing, and physician leaders to improve access, increase surgical capacity, reduce delays, and optimize the patient experience. This leader drives strategic and day-to-day throughput performance from surgical scheduling and pre-admission optimization through operating room progression, PACU flow, and postoperative transitions.
