Prepare accurate conceptual and detailed cost estimates in accordance with client bid schedules and submission requirements • Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and models for structural steel, modular, vessel, and nuclear scopes • Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing based on project requirements and execution strategy • Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for scope alignment, completeness, and competitiveness • Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and field teams to validate constructability, productivity assumptions, and schedule impacts • Incorporate quality, inspection, testing, and documentation requirements into estimates, particularly for nuclear and regulated work • Review bid documents, technical specifications, and contractual requirements to ensure full compliance • Assemble complete bid packages, including clarifications, exclusions, assumptions, and supporting documentation • Manage multiple concurrent bids while consistently meeting hard submission deadlines • Maintain organized estimate files and backup documentation for review and audit purposes • Support pre-bid meetings, internal reviews, and post-bid clarifications as needed • Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools, cost databases, and historical data. • Strong estimating background in structural steel, modular fabrication, vessels, or industrial construction • Working knowledge of fabrication and field installation means and methods • Understanding of quality-driven and regulated work environments; nuclear experience a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software preferred • Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Autodesk Build, Navisworks, Tekla Powerfab, Trimble, SolidWorks, SharePoint, Strumis, or similar platforms • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
