<p>A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support multiple attorneys across its litigation and corporate practice groups. This role provides comprehensive administrative and case support in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and requires a high level of organization, professionalism, and attention to detail.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage complex attorney calendars, schedule court dates, client meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements<li>Draft, edit, proofread, and format pleadings, discovery materials, corporate documents, agreements, correspondence, and memoranda<li>Assist with litigation filings, including preparation of exhibits, e-filings, and deadline tracking<li>Support corporate transactions by organizing documents, maintaining version control, and preparing closing materials<li>Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal teams to ensure timely case and transaction progress<li>Maintain and organize physical and electronic files, including document management systems and databases<li>Monitor and track key deadlines for litigation and corporate matters<li>Assist with time entry, billing coordination, and expense reporting<li>Support internal recordkeeping systems and administrative processes<li>Provide back-up coverage for other administrative staff as needed</ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of legal administrative experience, with exposure to litigation and corporate law preferred<li>High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or Paralegal certificate preferred<li>Demonstrated experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment<li>Familiarity with e-filing systems and document management platforms<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills<li>Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and deadline management abilities<li>Professional, service-oriented approach with the ability to handle confidential information</ul><br>Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
