<h3>Minimum qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>5 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role, supporting logistics operations.</li><li>5 years of experience building relationships with stakeholders or clients.</li><li>5 years of experience identifying issues in processes and creating solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to drive these changes.</li></ul><h3>Preferred qualifications:</h3><ul><li>MBA or Master's degree.</li><li>5 years of experience analyzing data and generating business insights in order to guide business decisions.</li><li>Experience managing operations in multiple locations simultaneously.</li><li>Experience in data center logistics.</li><li>Ability to be successful in operations management, problem-solving, third-party logistics vendor relationships, budget creation, and cost management.</li></ul><div><h2>About the job</h2><p>Google Cloud Logistics (GCL) enables Alphabet to innovate at extraordinary speed and scale within our Data Center and Third Party Data Center locations. GCL leads and manages all logistics operations required within the Google data center campuses, Jenga's and mini-clusters in North and South America. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.</div></div><div><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Own the day-to-day logistics operations management of multiple data center locations.</li><li>Create, lead, and support cross-functional company initiatives/projects. Drive alignment and prioritization of initiatives in a changing environment with many interdependencies.</li><li>Manage third-party logistics partners with associates on their teams dedicated to our account. Manage and monitor metrics for key performance indicators (KPIs), vendor performance scorecards, and development of business cases to support logistics process changes or improvements.</li><li>Manage quarterly budgets, invoice control, and capital improvement projects within your locations. Manage relationships with multiple internal customers at data centers.</li><li>Recognize improvement opportunities to the cost or quality of services to be provided.
