You will direct the workforce, oversee complex automation systems, and ensure our customers get exactly what they need.

Production Supervisor - Akron, OH - Job 26-00241Salary Range: $50K - $70K Full-time Permanent Position with BenefitsAn Akron, Ohio area manufacturer who is looking to hire an experienced Production Supervisor to increase our production through efficiency and safety awareness procedures and policies. As the Production Supervisor, you are the bridge between strategy and execution. You will direct the workforce, oversee complex automation systems, and ensure our customers get exactly what they needKey Responsibilities <ul><li>High School Graduate, GED, Vocational School and/or higher-level education</li><li>Metals industry (stamping and welding) background is a plus Manage and direct all production employees, fostering a culture of accountability and safety.</li><li>Maintain the plant in peak condition, ensuring all departments run at maximum efficiency.</li><li>Work closely with the Scheduling Department to prioritize workflows and meet customer deadlines.</li><li>Partner with Purchasing to secure parts and collaborate with Outside Vendors on repairs and innovative new projects.</li><li>Rigorously monitor production quality to ensure every part meets our high standards.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities <ol><li>Proven ability to manage a diverse workforce while maintaining self-control and clarity under pressure.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment, including PLC controls and automation systems.</li><li>Experience in inventory control and general computer proficiency.</li><li>A self-starter who identifies bottlenecks before they happen and takes initiative on the floor.</li></ol>Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply. Due to the large amount of resumes we expect to receive only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
