This role will work closely with internal technical teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver scalable, secure, and well-architected solutions. This is a contract-to-hire position with strong potential to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs. A key expectation of this role is the effective use of AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining high standards of quality, security, and maintainability. Contract-to-Hire Details   This is a full-time, temporary position supporting the project for a period of 3–6 months. Conversion to a full-time permanent position is based on performance and business needs. While full-time availability is preferred, candidates able to commit to consistent, project-based schedules will also be considered. What You'll Do<ul><li>Design, build, and maintain client-facing applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power Pages. </li><li>Develop and integrate Azure-based services including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, and Dataverse. </li><li>Implement REST APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems. </li><li>Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) to rapidly generate, refine, and optimize application code. </li><li>Review, validate, and harden AI-generated code to ensure it meets production, security, and performance standards. </li><li>Configure and manage Dataverse environments, security roles, and data models. </li><li>Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub. </li><li>Apply Azure security best practices including RBAC, managed identities, and Key Vault. </li><li>Collaborate with product owners, designers, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions. </li><li>Support demos, UAT feedback, and production deployments. </li><li>Ensure solutions follow Microsoft Power Platform best practices and governance standards. </li></ul>AI-Assisted Development Expectations <ul><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with AI coding and automation tools as a core part of the development workflow. </li><li>Strong judgment in validating AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, scalability, and maintainability.</li><li>Ability to provide clear prompts, constraints, and architectural guidance to AI tools to achieve high-quality results. </li><li>Comfort working in fast-iteration development cycles enabled by AI-assisted code generation. </li></ul>What You'll Bring<ul><li>4+ years of experience building solutions with Microsoft Power Platform. </li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Azure application services. </li><li>Experience developing client-facing or external-user applications. </li><li>Strong understanding of Dataverse data modeling and security. </li><li>Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integration patterns. </li><li>Experience incorporating AI-assisted coding tools into professional software development workflows. </li><li>Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control and CI/CD. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li></ul>Nice To Have <ul><li>Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400). </li><li>Experience with Power Pages for external users. </li><li>Consulting or professional services background. </li><li>Experience with Azure AD B2C / Microsoft Entra ID. </li><li>Experience with Power Platform ALM tools. </li></ul>Compensation The hourly rate for this as-needed position ranges from $50.00–$60.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities. production.</li><li>Experience developing AI/ML workflows and orchestration systems.</li><li>Proficiency building RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.</li><li>Comfort working with git submodules and multi-repo setups.</li><li>Strong understanding of SQL databases and scientific or complex data modeling.</li><li>Experience scaling microservice architectures for data- or compute-intensive applications.</li><li>Understanding of containerization concepts (e.g., Docker) for development and deployment.</li><li>Experience with real-time data processing and streaming systems.</li><li>Strong
