Assumes responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided when s/he is on duty • Delivers high quality, patient-centered care • Demonstrates awareness and respect for the patient/family/significant others • Knowledgeable of patient’s rights, advanced directives, consents, protection of patient security, privacy and confidentiality in all aspects of care • Demonstrates accuracy in administration, monitoring and documentation of medications, treatments, IV therapies, modalities and blood products • Assess, collaborate and coordinate meeting patient’s care needs during transition from shift to shift, transfer and upon discharge To Get Started You Will Need: • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical practice in the dialysis specialty, acute care experience in a hospital setting preferred • Appropriate certifications as required for specific position • Degree from an accredited school of nursing • BSN required within 1 year • Certification in specialty required within 1 year.
