As Regional Security Manager, Data Center Compliance, Security & Risk Management, you oversee a team responsible for the security management of a geographic region of technical infrastructure locations, and work on ensuring sites are in compliance with all regional governmental and regulatory requirements. You deliver solutions for ambiguous or new problems, by leading teams in exploring the capabilities of existing or developing new systems and aligning resources to see the solution through to completion.

This role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship.<h3>Minimum qualifications:</h3><ul><li>10 years of experience developing and deploying processes to mitigate risk, and leading operational or project based work and tasks.</li><li>10 years of experience managing, sourcing, or procuring business resources and vendors.</li><li>10 years of experience in a people management, supervision, or team leadership role, and coordinating/managing resources for data center locations.</li><li>Experience in physical security policy and rsk management.</li></ul><h3>Preferred qualifications:</h3><ul><li>10 years of experience coordinating or leading security.</li><li>5 years of experience managing incidents and crises.</li><li>3 years of experience with data center technologies, infrastructure, and methodologies.</li><li>3 years of experience with physical security system architecture, components, installation methods, administration, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Experience planning security operations or strategy for security programs.</li></ul><div><h2>About the job</h2><p>As Regional Security Manager, Data Center Compliance, Security & Risk Management, you oversee a team responsible for the security management of a geographic region of technical infrastructure locations, and work on ensuring sites are in compliance with all regional governmental and regulatory requirements. You influence and lead cross-organizational collaborations while directing the integration of multiple work streams on teams. You act as a trusted authority on strategic matters and provide domain expertise for a critical part of Google's security infrastructure.</p><p>The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.</p><p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.</p></div><div><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Manage the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, training, and risk management for a cross-functional technical infrastructure location.</li><li>Act as a single point of escalation for defined security-related incidents having uncertain solutions.</li><li>Drive security work to ensure one or more technical infrastructure locations are in compliance with all regional governmental and regulatory compliance requirements.</li><li>Develop cross-functional strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and maintain an appropriate security posture.</li><li>Perform complex risk assessments and provide feedback to internal design teams for a variety of IT structures.</li></ul></div>Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
