Why Work at Willow Valley Communities? <ul><li>Weekly Pay</li><li>Access to on-site amenities, including our fitness center, spa, cafés, and swimming pools </li><li>Opportunities for career growth</li><li>And much more! </li></ul> Pay $16.00 per hour What You'll Do As a Landscaper/Gardener, you'll help care for and enhance our outdoor spaces by: <ul><li>Preparing and grading terrain </li><li>Applying fertilizers, seeding and sodding lawns </li><li>Planting and transplanting trees, shrubs, and flowers </li><li>Trimming, pruning, and shaping shrubs and trees </li><li>Cultivating gardens and maintaining flower beds </li><li>Edging and trimming around walkways, walls, and landscaped areas </li><li>Raking leaves and removing debris </li><li>Watering lawns, gardens, and shrubs </li><li>Keeping grounds clean and inviting </li></ul>• What We're Looking For <ul><li>High school diploma or GED or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience </li><li>Ability to work outdoors in various summer conditions </li><li>A team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic </li></ul> Schedule & Hours <ul><li>40 hours per week</li><li>Summer-only position</li><li>Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM</li></ul> Location The Manor and Lakes Campus Willow Valley Communities Lancaster and Willow Street, PA PMS111

We are dedicated to making the homes and neighborhoods in Greater Philadelphia more beautiful and enjoyable places to live. If you prefer working outside with your hands over being confined to an office desk, we invite you to join our growing team. Job Overview:  As a Nursery Labor team member, your responsibilities include caring for our living inventory, including watering, repotting, fertilizing, pruning, and applying pesticide treatments. Nursery Labor team members are also responsible for accepting daily plant deliveries, keeping shelves and work areas organized, and maintaining a facility that is clean, presentable, and well-maintained. This position requires physical strength and stamina, as it involves significant manual labor and working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Candidates should possess the following core competencies:  <ul><li>Prompt and reliable - Timeliness is crucial in caring for our perishable inventory.  </li></ul><ul><li>Attentive and thorough - Subtle differences between plant species and individual specimens are key to organization and care. Working with a sense of urgency, taking initiative, and finishing tasks completely are qualities we require in our department.  </li></ul><ul><li>Desire to learn - No prior horticultural experience is required, but a willingness to learn and adapt is key.  </li></ul><ul><li>Physical stamina - You must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions and be able to lift 65 lbs repeatedly.  </li></ul>Nursery Labor starts at $17/hour with a seasonal, performance-based raise structure. No prior experience is necessary. Anyone with a background in hospitality, manual labor, horticulture, and landscaping are encouraged to apply.
