This role is responsible for the daily upkeep of landscaped and paved areas, ensuring a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment for our residents. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values safety, and demonstrates professionalism in alignment with company standards and policies. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Follow all safety procedures and regulations</li><li>Install, repair, and adjust irrigation systems</li><li>Weed, mow, edge, and fertilize landscaped areas</li><li>Prune and trim flowers, shrubs, and trees according to proper horticultural guidelines</li><li>Identify, prevent, and treat plant diseases as directed</li><li>Identify and control pests such as gophers, snails, aphids, and other common landscape issues</li><li>Maintain storage facilities, tools, equipment, and landscape workshop in a clean and organized condition</li><li>Report safety concerns and overall property appearance issues to the Landscape Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, or Property Manager</li><li>Remove visible trash and debris throughout the property</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned</li></ul>Note: Duties may vary depending on the size and needs of the community. Qualifications Required: <ul><li>Bilingual in Spanish and English</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance</li><li>Knowledge of plant types including trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and common weeds</li><li>Understanding of pruning, planting, staking, and deadheading techniques</li><li>Familiarity with hand and power tools used in landscape maintenance and safe operating practices</li><li>Ability to provide excellent customer service</li></ul>Preferred: <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li></ul>Work Environment <ul><li>On-site position at an apartment community</li><li>Regular interaction with residents, team members, and vendors</li><li>Schedule typically 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.</li><li>Weekend work (Saturday/Sunday) required</li><li>Overtime may be required based on property needs</li><li>Must be flexible with scheduling</li></ul>Physical Requirements <ul><li>Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach</li><li>Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</li><li>Ability to safely operate hand and power tools</li><li>Must be capable of performing physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions</li></ul>Why Join Us?
