DescriptionThe Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.<div>Job Summary<ul><li>The Crew Leader Enhancement oversees landscape enhancement and maintenance of a crew of 2 or more team members, providing hands-on leadership in landscape enhancement and maintenance, including soil, planting, watering, and insect control.  This role ensures that client standards are consistently met, while identifying and implementing operational efficiencies.</li></ul>Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct site inspections and provide hands-on leadership/ guidance for soil, planting, watering, and insect control</li><li>Ensure that client standards are met while maintaining operational efficiencies</li><li>Drive and maintain vehicles, train crew members with strong emphasis on safety, manage schedules, and review charts and reports.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>2+ years of landscape install experience</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in lawn care and landscaping; supervisory experience desired.</li><li>Minimum 1 year experience managing a 2+ person crew</li><li>Commercial Driver's license (CDL) with a good record</li><li>Familiarity with landscaping techniques and equipment</li><li>Experience running equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe, etc.)</li><li>Able to read architectural drawings</li><li>Strong leadership skills</li><li>Able to work well with others</li><li>Reliable transportation</li></ul>Physical Demands/Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)</li><li>Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.)</li><li>Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day </li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic</li><li>Work near or about natural bodies of water</li><li>Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit</li><li>Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time</li></ul><h3>BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.</h3></div><h3>This job description is subject to change at any time.</h3>Compensation Pay Range:$20-$24/hour depending on experienceBrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
