Under this contract KBR will provide facility maintenance, procurement, critical supply functions, along with foodservice, base camp operations, renovations, construction, and medical services.Job SummaryThe Landscaping/Grounds Keeping Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining safe and attractive landscaping for the site. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.Please note: This position is located in Baghdad, Iraq and is contingent on award.Roles and Responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li><li>Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.</li><li>Responsible for the operation and maintenance of BAS and PMS.</li><li>Acts as the Contractor's representative ensuring that all BAS and PMS task order requirements are met.</li><li>Responsible for allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs</li><li>Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.</li><li>Plan and manage projects.</li><li>Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from O&M staff and USG representatives.</li><li>Resolve all BAS and PMS related issues.</li></ul>Basic Qualifications<ul><li>A degree from an accredited school in Landscape Management, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture or similar field.</li><li>Ten (10) years' experience in landscaping/grounds keeping of large residential, commercial, recreational or government properties.</li><li>Five (5) years' experience in managing subordinates, subcontractors and vendors in the field.</li><li>Certification(s) in lieu of education may be considered.</li><li>A Master Gardener certification from an accredited body may be accepted.</li><li>NALP certification(s) may be accepted. NALP approval may require multiple certifications.</li><li>Certifications from sources other than noted above may also be considered.</li><li>The COR and FAC must approve educational degrees/educational bodies, master gardener certifications and/or NALP certifications.</li><li>US Citizen</li><li>US Passport with minimum one plus year validity remaining.</li><li>Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.</li><li>Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.</li><li>Must currently possess a U.S. Government (USG) issued or be able obtain a favorable USG Secret clearance and/or a favorable USG Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) certification prior to being hired is required for the position.
