Our facility is equipped with advanced Olympus scopes for comprehensive GI procedures, providing an excellent environment for professional growth. Research collaboration opportunities are available through Wake Forest Baptist Health, enhancing your impact on veteran care.The Staff Gastroenterologist serves as acting section chief when needed, provides supervision to trainees and nurse practitioners, and participates in medical center committees. Delivers quality care to adult and older adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and maintains clinical privileges. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams on patient care, leads or supports continuous quality improvement, and stays current with advances in the field.
