With 12 outpatient Pediatricians, 2 NPs, and many pediatric subspecialists on staff, including Hospital Medicine, PICU, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, PM&R, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Orthopedics, we are able to care for the area's most critically ill infants and children. Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. <h3> PRACTICE SPECIFICS </h3> We are seeking a 1.0 FTE and one casual, Pediatric Gastroenterologist in Duluth, MN, to join our growing team. The Pediatric Gastroenterologist will: <ul><li> Partner with our current, full-time, Pediatric GI physician and support staff to grow services </li><li> Perform a full spectrum of Endoscopy procedures in Essentia's state-of-the-art Digestive Health Center </li><li> Rotate call with partner </li><li> Partner on all GI hospital admissions with acute care Pediatric Hospitalists and Intensivists who service as primary </li><li> Be supported by child-life specialists and other services uniquely designed for children and adolescents </li><li> Join a robust pediatric subspecialty team as we continue to expand and grow services throughout our region </li><li> Treat patients/families coming from an area that includes North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan. </li><li> Have access to continuing education and CME reimbursement </li><li> Be provided with competitive salary and benefits package </li></ul> <h3> REQUIREMENTS </h3><ul><li> BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterology </li></ul> <h3> LOCATION </h3><ul><li> Duluth, MN – located at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior </li><li>150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul </li><li> Duluth population: 86,000; Regional service area: 460,000</li></ul>  COMPENSATION $187.00 an hour.
