**Job Description**
 
**AECOM** is seeking a self-motivated, experienced Geologist for our Baton Rouge office. In this important position, the successful candidate will support Project Managers in the planning, oversight of fieldwork, and evaluation of hydrogeologic and reporting phases for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects. Projects include large Federal clients, Refineries, and numerous commercial clients. The role, has a preference to be based out of Denver, CO. However we will consider candidates out of any number of our office locations throughout the West. LA, Oakland, Ft. Collins, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Midland.
 
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
 
+ Manage field-based tasks of environmental investigation and remediation programs.
 
+ Oversee and lead well installation and sampling tasks, and able to communicate with PMs.
 
+ Data management, evaluation and report writing with experience drafting environmental investigation and closure reports.
 
+ Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
 
+ Qualified candidates must be comfortable with travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays.
 
+ Expected travel time would be greater than 50 % of the time.
 
+ Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, willingness to mentor junior staff, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative.
 
**Qualifications**
 
**Minimum Requirements**
 
+ Bachelor of Science degree in geology or relevant geological science discipline (e.g., geophysics, hydrogeology, or geochemistry.
 
+ 4+ year's of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education
 
+ Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
 
**Preferred Qualifications**
 
+ Professional Geologist License or Geologist in Training Certificate.
 
+ Familiarity with common drilling techniques for environmental work.
 
+ Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
 
+ Knowledge of RCRA or CERCLA processes.
 
+ Experience with local regulatory agencies
 
+ Reporting experience in routine monitoring, site investigation work plans, conceptual site model, and well installation reports.
 
+ Task management or project management experience.
 
+ Proposal writing a plus.

**AECOM** is actively seeking a talented Environmental Project Manager for employment in our Baton Rouge, LA office. Imagine making a positive impact in your community while working on rewarding projects, such as environmental justice, remediation, or Brownfields projects. The role, has a preference to be a hybrid work model and can be based out of any number of our office locations throughout the West. LA, Oakland, Ft. Collins, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Midland. However we will consider remote candidates, within the United States, who do not live close to any of these locations.
 
Responsibilities for this position may include the following:
 
+ Understands site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for our clients.
 
+ Responsible for the overall management of projects and establishes project-specific objectives.
 
+ Provides management and guidance to AECOM staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
 
+ Engages existing and potential clients regarding AECOM service capabilities, and services.
 
+ Provide mentorship to staff.
 
+ Oversees and delivers projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and schedule

+ US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
 
+ Successful candidate will be required to pass a background check.
 
**Preferred Qualifications**
 
+ 15+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management, and business development experience.
 
+ Licensed (Professional Engineer or Geologist).
 
+ Experience working with Local and State of Colorado, or California or Texas regulatory agencies.
 
+ 40-hour HAZWOPER certified (current).
 
+ PMP certification.
 
+ Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations.
