Key Responsibilities • Assist geologists with drill core handling and sampling • Receive drill core at camp and manage transfer to logging facilities using various small equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, and light duty vehicles • Assist with data collection by cleaning core, ensuring core box labeling is correct and consistent, collecting RQD and Recovery measurements, and photographing core boxes according to protocol • Assist with the collection of specific gravity measurements • Package core samples in preparation for shipment • Assist geology department with organization of core laydown • Support field operations, as needed • Comply with safety & health, environmental and Company policies and procedures • Other duties as assigned.
