Overview:
NV5 is seeking a GIS Analyst – Photogrammetrist to support the delivery of survey grade airborne, terrestrial, and mobile mapping solutions for transportation and infrastructure clients. This role sits at the intersection of traditional photogrammetry, modern reality capture, and mobile mapping, helping transform high fidelity spatial data into authoritative datasets and digital twin environments for design grade mapping datasets. Responsibilities:
Photogrammetry / Stereo Production <ul><li>Airborne and terrestrial imagery processing </li><li>Aerial triangulation, stereo compilation, DEM/DTM generation </li><li>Survey grade mapping to DOT and engineering standards </li><li>Photogrammetric accuracy validation and QA/QC </li></ul>Mobile Mapping / Reality Capture <ul><li>Integration of mobile LiDAR and imagery with traditional photogrammetry </li><li>Feature extraction and alignment across mobile, aerial, and terrestrial datasets </li><li>Support of reality capture programs feeding Digital Twins and asset inventories </li><li>Collaboration with GIS and asset management teams to enable downstream use </li></ul>Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Assist in the processing and creation of airborne, terrestrial, and mobile derived datasets </li><li>Execute and assist in QA/QC and accuracy standards for survey grade deliverables </li><li>Proficient in the use of software such as DAT/EM-Summit Evolution, MicroStation, TopoDOT, ArcGIS Pro </li><li>Troubleshoot accuracy, alignment, and workflow challenges </li><li>Help to support development of standardized production workflows </li><li>Support datasets used for Digital Twins, GIS integration, and asset management </li></ul>

Qualifications:

Overview:

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Utilize advanced GEOINT tools to analyze and exploit remotely sensed data to produce and disseminate GEOINT intelligence products.</li><li>Perform non-literal exploitation of active sensor data (Synthetic Aperture RADAR).</li><li>Combine exploitation results with contextual findings discovered through research and other electro-optical (E/O) literal data analysis to bring meaningful interpretation to non-literal results.</li><li>Perform quality assurance and control review for own and team-members’ products prior to dissemination.</li><li>Collaborate with SAR scientists to analyze and develop processes to support the exploitation of unique, anomalous, and difficult datasets utilizing engineering principles and a physics-based analytical approach.</li><li>Identify workflow steps that can be automated.</li><li>Complete all mandatory security requirement/network, and sensor discipline training, as required.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
Requirements:<ul><li>STEM-related degree is required (Masters/Doctorate in Chemistry, Physics, Imagery Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science).</li><li>2+ years demonstrated experience in SAR analysis. </li><li>Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.</li><li>Strong technical writing and briefing skills (experienced with MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel).</li><li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.</li></ul>Preferred Additional Skills:<ul><li>Experience with ENVI, SOCET GXP, RemoteView, ArcGIS, and/or similar software tools.</li><li>Ability to code/script, such as in Python, MATLAB, R, and/or IDL.</li><li>Experience in processing and analyzing remote sensing data from active or passive sensors, especially spectral, and/or thermal (IR) data.</li></ul>Please note that some of our positions may require the ability to obtain security clearances that may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
