Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. Participates in patient/family education needs, under the supervision of the RN, as determined by initial and ongoing assessments, patient diagnosis, level of learning readiness, and patient/family/SO requests using other disciplines as appropriate.
