<h3>Description</h3> <div>We’re looking for a creative, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Building Automation Graphics Technician. This is not your typical graphic design job. You won’t be making marketing materials or branding assets—instead, you’ll design and maintain the graphical user interface (GUI) that our customers use to monitor and control their building systems. </div><div>You’ll bring floor plans, HVAC equipment, and complex systems to life in a visual format that’s intuitive, clear, and functional. No prior experience in building automation is required—just a willingness to learn and a passion for design with a purpose.</div><div> Pay Scale:</div><div>$45,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience. Candidates without prior building automation experience should expect to be considered within the lower to mid-range of the salary scale. Travel: While this role is based in Orlando, FL, the individual will be expected to travel periodically to Tampa, FL to provide on-site support as needed. Travel frequency will vary based on project demands.  </div><div>Training:</div><div>The individual hired for this position will be required to complete four weeks of in-person training at our Jacksonville, FL office upon starting. Essential Duties & Responsibilities + Works with Director Graphics Production to develop and maintain consistent processes and procedures for branch graphic production. + Assists with staff scheduling as needed. + Develops best practices/policies for graphic production. + Assists with graphic production to maintain appropriate service levels. + Maintains adequate material inventories for production needs. + Reviews quality of products to ensure quality service levels. + Monitors and reports measurable service quality improvements or lack thereof, and reports findings to management. + Promotes a high standard of quality service for which Freeman is known. + Has and maintains a thorough and up to date knowledge of the Company’s graphic products, services and capabilities. + Maintains personal workspace, documents and works-in-progress in a clean, organized fashion. + Participates in and achieves superior performance in work related training programs as assigned by graphics manager.
