This position will provide expertise and particular focus on ensuring compliance with applicable hazardous waste regulations; Integrated Contingency Plan; Inspections; Reporting; Record keeping; Training; Groundwater Monitoring; and Corrective Actions (RCRA Facility Investigations, Corrective Measures; Corrective Actions); Provide expertise and instruction to facilities regarding compliance with environmental regulations related to:Hazardous Materials Management (e.g., identification and management of hazardous chemicals above threshold quantities; emergency response and release planning; record keeping; reporting, such as Tier II, Toxic Release Inventory (TRI)/Form R; and, personnel training. Expertise in applying environmental knowledge, data analysis and facilitation skills to develop solutions for effective management of site environmental permits and regulatory requirements; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and persuasively with all levels of the organization to influence change; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, outside agencies and the general public; and, Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including a respirator, and move throughout a manufacturing facility in the performance of work responsibilities.
