A Brooklyn-based staffing firm is hiring a <strong>true full-desk (360) recruiter</strong> with a <strong>headhunter mentality</strong>someone who can <strong>source and engage talent</strong> (not post and pray), operate confidently on <strong>both sides of the desk</strong>, and help support a portfolio of <strong>City/State agency clients</strong> (plus a smaller private-client portfolio).<br/><br/>
This is a <strong>primarily contract staffing</strong> environment with meaningful emphasis on <strong>post-placement management</strong> and retention of talent on assignment.<br/><br/><strong>What Youll Do</strong><ul><li>Run <strong>360/full-desk recruiting</strong>: business development + recruiting delivery + stakeholder management.</li><li>Proactively <strong>source and recruit</strong> healthcare talent (and some non-clinical roles), including <strong>passive candidates</strong>.</li><li>Take on <strong>account management</strong> responsibilities and help support/expand existing client relationships.</li><li>Own full lifecycle recruiting: intake/qualify, interview coordination, feedback, negotiation, and close.</li><li>Manage <strong>post-placement</strong> success: support retention and performance of talent on assignment.</li><li>Contract staffing focus: ideally has managed <strong>~12+ contractors on billing</strong> at once.</li><li>Maintain strong workflow hygiene in the <strong>ATS</strong> and support accurate pipeline/activity tracking.</li><li>Navigate VMS-driven client processes.</li><li>Use AI tools as part of day-to-day productivity (company uses <strong>Microsoft Copilot</strong> within Office 365).</li></ul><strong>What Were Looking For</strong><br/><br/><strong>Must-Haves</strong><ul><li>Demonstrated history of <strong>360/full-desk recruiting</strong> (client + recruiting), not recruiting-only.</li><li>Strong sourcing capability (outreach, networking, passive talent strategies).</li><li>Client-facing confidence and experience with account management and/or business development.</li><li>Contract staffing experience with <strong>post-placement / on-assignment management</strong>.</li><li>Experience using an ATS, job boards, and social recruiting.</li><li>Traits: <strong>good humor</strong>, emotionally intelligent (read the room), <strong>scrappy/resilient</strong>, professionally curious.</li></ul><strong>Preferred</strong><ul><li>Exposure to <strong>state/local government clients</strong> and/or working a public-sector portfolio.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>VMS</strong> environments (Vector experience a plus).</li></ul><strong>Types of Roles Youll Support (Examples)</strong><ul><li><strong>Healthcare (contract, long-term):</strong> RNs, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, Phlebotomists.</li><li><strong>Non-clinical/non-healthcare:</strong> Senior Accountants, Tax Accountants, Paralegals.</li><li>Plus a smaller portfolio of private clients.</li></ul>
