Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; 2 years of experience as long as proficient with neuro assessments and basic cardiac drips; experience with Cardizem, Amio, and Heparin drips; EPIC electronic health record system experience; prior travel nursing experience; ability to read and interpret ECG strips and pass ECG exam. This role involves floating to all PCU and Telemetry units within the healthcare facility, providing specialized nursing care to patients with conditions such as stroke, chest pain, arrhythmias, post-surgical care, altered mental status, dehydration, AKI, CHF, GI hemorrhage, and sepsis.
