We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to perform excavation, grading, and material handling on large-scale heavy civil construction projects. Experience on large-scale earthwork or infrastructure projects strongly preferred.

We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to perform excavation, grading, and material handling on large-scale heavy civil construction projects.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Operate excavators, dozers, motor graders, and loaders.</li><li>Perform excavation, grading, backfilling, and material placement.</li><li>Follow grade stakes, plans, and supervisor direction.</li><li>Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.</li><li>Maintain safe operations around ground personnel and other equipment.</li><li>Support additional equipment or site tasks as needed.</li><li>Follow all safety, quality, and production standards.</li></ul>What You Bring<ul><li>Experience operating multiple types of heavy earthmoving equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of heavy civil construction practices and job site safety.</li><li>Dependability, accountability, and strong work ethic.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Willingness to cross-train on additional equipment or tasks.</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions.</li></ul>Education | Experience<ul><li>5+ years of heavy civil equipment operating experience.</li><li>Experience on large-scale earthwork or infrastructure projects strongly preferred.</li></ul>

The individual will be responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment daily. Must know Trimble GPS, be able to operate on steep rocky slope and grades.PRIMARY DUTIES<ul><li>Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals</li><li>Assist with setup and tear down of plants</li><li>Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required or directed by supervisor</li><li>General housekeeping of equipment and plants daily or as directed by supervisor</li><li>Individuals must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis</li><li>The use of a shovel to move material will be necessary</li><li>Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy</li><li>Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup</li><li>Safety, Safety, Safety - comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Applicants must be at least 18 years old</li><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>Able to operate equipment efficiently to maintain project specifications</li><li>Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance</li><li>Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch</li><li>Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy is required</li><li>MSHA part 46 and/or part 48 or willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certification</li><li>Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, rain, and snow</li><li>Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test is required</li><li>Work well in a team environment</li><li>Travel will be required</li></ul>Fisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are a drug-free work environment requiring pre-employment and random drug testing.
