<div><strong>Field Service Mechanic – Heavy Duty Construction Equipment </strong><br/><em>Company based in Martinsburg, WV region (Field Tech working in PA WV, VA, and MD)</em></div><div></div><div>Our Client, a well-established underground utility construction company, is seeking an experienced, dependable, and self-motivated Field Service Mechanic to join their team.</div><div><br/>This individual will have a company service vehicle to travel to their construction sites to maintain and repair construction equipment and vehicles throughout PA, WV, VA, and MD.</div><div></div><div><strong>Qualifications</strong><br/>• Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy construction equipment and heavy-duty trucks required <br/>• Valid CDL license with clean Motor Vehicle Record per company’s insurance standards <br/>• Must possess exceptional trouble shooting abilities<br/>• Ability to travel with a company service vehicle to project location daily and/or stay out of town when necessary.<br/>• Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various gas and diesel engines<br/>• Good understanding of DOT regulations regarding maintenance practices<br/>• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools<br/>• Basic computer skills<br/>• Able to stand, kneel, climb, bend, and lift up to 50lbs. unassisted </div><div></div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br/>• Inspect, maintain, repair, and test heavy duty equipment and company vehicles such as trucks, trailers, bulldozers, graders, excavators and other equipment<br/>• Utilizing specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to identify malfunctions, perform repairs, and ensure optimal equipment performance while adhering to safety regulations<br/>• Keep accurate paperwork completed of all repairs and services</div><div></div><div><strong>Schedule and Benefit Overview</strong><br/>• Hourly position.
