DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Equipment Operator with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, you will be integral to maintaining the safety and efficiency of our roadways, particularly during the demanding winter season when snow removal is crucial. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Must obtain an active certification issu d by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in the operation of heavy trucks and loaders, and two additional pieces of construction equipment, within the probationary period. Employees may be required to obtain and maintain CDL endorsements and certifications necessary to operate specific pieces of equipment. Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: Viewed as a Lease Operator in training or entry level Lease Operator. Works under general supervision of a supervisor or Lease Operator Lead. This position monitors, maintains, and reports the operation of wells and sites on an assigned route. Most problems require consultation with supervisor to resolve.  Special focus to be placed on: <ul><li>Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule.</li><li>Monitor production equipment including but not limited to compressors, pumpjacks, plunger lift, dehydrators, meters, separators, and safety devices; perform light maintenance on equipment as necessary to ensure all equipment is well maintained and operating safely.</li><li>Inspect lease sites to ensure they are clean and free of debris and overgrown vegetation.</li><li>Manage daily fluid production; gauge and record oil and water tank levels. </li><li>Gather daily, monthly and quarterly data and submit all required reports and tickets in a timely manner; meets deadlines with few errors and/or missing information. </li><li>Recognize production related issues and work with foreman and any other relative personnel to troubleshoot and resolve.</li><li>Communicate regularly with production foreman on daily plans and issues; participate in periodic well reviews and safety meetings. </li><li>Work to optimize productions in a safe, cost-effective manner. </li><li>Participate in on-call rotation schedule which includes some nights and weekends. </li><li>Check for and address spills, fluid leaks, and trip hazards.</li><li>Ensure company provided vehicle is properly maintained. </li><li>Respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary. </li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations. </li><li>Valid driver license. </li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. </li><li>Ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance of the incident. </li><li>Ability to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes a hard hat, safety glasses, respirators, earplugs, steel-toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the location and work performed. </li></ul>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:<ul><li>Must be able to move or traverse from one location on the job site to another. This includes the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, frequently positioning oneself (e.g., to stoop, kneel, or squat) to perform tasks, and occasionally ascend/descend (e.g., ladders or uneven terrain)</li><li>Ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess driving operations effectively (either naturally or with corrective lenses).</li><li>Ability to operate a 4X4 vehicle.</li><li>Must be able to repetitively move or position feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, and back.
