Record production data required for measuring waste, downtime or production efficiency, or other pertinent data as required Communicate with team members to stay up to date on important information, processes, issues, and concerns Participate in safety training and strictly follow safety policies, rules, and procedures Operate forklift on occasion to transport materials to designated area of production area Working with heavy equipment such as gun screw, dryer, ingredient mixer, airlocks, couplers, conveyors, blowers, etc Wet washing/deep cleaning with appropriate cleaning solutions Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues such as failing bearings, belts, motors, etc Keep work area clean and orderly, perform sanitation audits and develop action plans to correct problem areas Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on all related equipment Record production data required for measuring waste, downtime or production efficiency Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent Skills & Abilities: Technical skills are preferred but not required Ability to learn the operation of a wide range of packaging equipment Ability to use basic hand tools.
