In this essential role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of asphalt equipment used in our mobile paving operations in Nebraska and Iowa. Your expertise will help ensure that our equipment runs smoothly while supporting paving operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, a thorough understanding of asphalt operations, and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly in a field environment. You will work closely with our paving crew and project manager to minimize downtime, maintain safety standards, and ensure that all equipment meets operational requirements. In this critical position, you will be responsible for the transportation of asphalt paving equipment and machinery using a lowboy trailer to various job sites. Our service area includes central Nebraska to the panhandle, South Dakota and eastern Colorado.</p><p>CSI provides traffic control services, roadway and airport pavement marking, pavement marking removals, temporary barrier rail, temporary signals, message boards and other smart zone equipment. CSI is a fast-growing company looking for employees that are ready to grow with us.</p><p>We need equipment haulers in North Platte, NE.</p><p>Safety is the most important part of a construction project. CSI employees will help create a safe work zone by installing traffic control devices on roadway construction projects.</p><p>Equipment haulers will haul equipment and materials to and from our yard to staging areas throughout our service area. This will include but is not limited to temporary barrier rail, message boards, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items. The drivers are responsible for loading and unloading all loads. They are responsible for maintaining the correct paperwork and logs in regulation with their CDL license.</p><p><strong>Abilities/Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Follow the Safety handbook.</li><li>Must be at least 23 years of age.</li><li>Clean driving record.</li><li>Operator requires Class A CDL license (endorsements preferred but not required).</li><li>Conduct yourself as a professional with co-workers and public.</li><li>Work away from home.</li><li>Report to work at the designated start time.</li><li>Work overtime.</li><li>Work outside in all-weather conditions.</li><li>Be a team player.</li><li>Lift 80+ lbs.</li><li>Communicate well with others.</li><li>Willingness to learn, new hires will be trained in classroom and on the job.</li></ul><p><i>This is a position that requires safety to be put first, as you will be working near traffic and other contractors.
