Under the guidance of an instructor, you will also obtain the necessary licensing and certification to operate heavy construction machinery, including Heavy Truck/Tandem Axle (HT/TA) vehicles and loaders with a bucket capacity of 4.5 cubic yards or less. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $41,526.00 (before taxes). This position entails work with boilers, high-pressure steam, gas, and steam turbines. Strong mechanical, welding, and/or electrical ability is a plus. Come join our team! Duties:</div><ul><li>Inspect, adjust and control all power production auxiliary and facility equipment to assure safe, legal, continuous, and efficient operation. Knowledge of gas and steam turbines is required. </li><li>Communicate effectively and accurately using both oral and written methods of communication.</li><li>Make repairs, where qualified and assist others in making repairs to all equipment.</li><li>Perform assigned tasks in the analyzing and control of treated water. Take necessary action to maintain the systems within prescribed limits.</li><li>Perform cleaning duties as assigned or required.</li><li>Take actions necessary to prevent any environmental excursions.</li><li>Continually checks all phases of the operation for difficulties or irregularities, troubleshooting as necessary.</li><li>Maintains journals, logs, maintenance and equipment records, and various reports.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
