This position involves manual labor, use of hand tools, and basic mechanical and technical work under direct supervision.What does a typical day look like for the Maintenance Trades Helper?You will:<ul><li>Assist trades staff with routine maintenance and repair of
 buildings, equipment, and systems.</li><li>Carry tools, materials, and supplies to and from job sites.</li><li>Prepare and clean work areas before and after tasks.</li><li>Operate basic hand and power tools safely.</li><li>Perform simple tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging
 drains, or assembling / repairing furniture.</li><li>Assist with inspections and testing of equipment and systems.</li><li>Load and unload equipment or materials from trucks or storage
 areas.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective
 equipment.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops and
 storage areas.</li><li>Report any hazards, malfunctions, or needed repairs to
 supervisors.</li><li>Perform limited snow removal in common
 use areas.  </li><li>Mow grass and weed areas within the
 LSA's perimeter fence and Entry Control Point.</li><li>Trim grass and weeds around trees,
 shrubs, buildings, tents, fences, poles, posts, fire hydrants, parking lot
 bumpers, boulders, and all other fixed objects that project above the ground.</li><li>Remove Debris and Litter from the
 Grounds.</li></ul> What qualifications do you look for?You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:<ul><li>The ability to work in the U.S. permanently
 without sponsorship.</li><li>A High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>A minimum of seven
 (2) years of experience in general maintenance.</li><li>Practical skills
 in and working knowledge of general maintenance trades.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and learn new
 skills quickly.</li><li>Ability to use hand and power tools safely and
 effectively.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically
