OverviewJoin HAI’s Oregon, IL team and be part of a hardworking group dedicated to producing high-quality resin-coated sand products. This role is ideal for individuals who value safety, efficiency, and teamwork. You’ll play a key role in packaging and preparing finished products while gaining hands-on experience that can lead to advancement opportunities within the company.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Safely set up, fill, package, and label finished products according to customer specifications</li><li>Operate lift trucks to move materials and finished goods throughout the facility</li><li>Load and secure large “super sack” bags (up to 4,000 lbs.) for packaging</li><li>Label and palletize finished products for shipment</li><li>Maintain accurate packaging records</li><li>Keep work areas clean and organized, including sweeping and managing spillage</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment</li><li>Complete a comprehensive 6-month training program</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities<ul><li>Support Process and Mixer Operators in production activities</li><li>Stage raw materials and assist with sampling and quality checks</li><li>Clean and maintain equipment using power tools and cleaning systems</li><li>Step in for Process Operators when needed</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>What We’re Looking For<ul><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work independently</li><li>Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on safety</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required</li><li>1+ year of experience in packaging, machine operation, or manufacturing preferred</li><li>Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working with minimal supervision</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Exposure to dust, airborne particles, moving equipment, and loud noise</li><li>Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions</li><li>Required use of PPE including gloves, hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots</li><li>Respirator use may be required in certain situations</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Frequently lift 20–30 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Push, pull, or move drums up to 100 lbs.</li><li>Stand, bend, squat, and stretch regularly</li><li>Work in tight or elevated spaces when needed</li><li>Use hand and power tools safely and effectively</li></ul>Why Join HAI?<ul><li>Hands-on training and growth opportunities</li><li>Stable, team-focused work environment</li><li>Opportunity to build skills in a manufacturing setting</li></ul>If you’re dependable, safety-focused, and ready to grow your career in manufacturing, we encourage you to apply today.You should be proficient in:<ul><li>Material Handler Experience</li><li>Packaging Experience</li><li>Excellent Communication Skills</li></ul>
