The Shot Peen Helper assists operators with part handling, preparation, and basic support tasks toensure safe and efficient shot peening operations. Schedule -  2nd shift Monday – Friday 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM - Some overtime may be required Pay - $16-$17 BOE Responsibilities:<ul><li>Load and unload parts from machines </li><li>Mask and unmask parts per work instructions as needed </li><li>Assist with part preparation, cleaning, and staging </li><li>Maintain part identification and organization </li><li>Support Almen strip handling as directed </li><li>Perform basic visual checks of parts </li><li>Keep work area clean and organized </li><li>Follow all safety requirements and use PPE </li><li>Any additional work assigned by manager.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Must have prior experience using hand tools </li><li>Must have excellent attendance record & reliable transportation </li><li>Open to learning a new skill; shot peening </li><li>Dependable, team-oriented, and good communication skills </li><li>Follow Company Safety rules and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred </li><li>Manufacturing or shop experience is a plus </li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment </li><li>Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including safety glasses, hearing </li><li>protection, and other PPE based upon requirements in working area. </li><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods</li></ul>Work Environment:Industrial setting requiring PPE, with exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment Well lit, climate-controlled environment
