Courses may be offered during the day, evening, online, or at off-campus locations. Faculty also contribute to curriculum development, assessment of student learning, academic advising, and institutional or community service.Preference for the first position will be given to candidates with experience teaching Early American History. For the second position, preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching General American History, American Government, or first-year seminars. Salary commensurate with education level and experience. The major emphasis for instructors is on teaching and evaluating students in the course. Classes are taught in a variety of formats and at several different locations, as well as online.
