Ability to: apply modern methods and principles of education to pupils functioning at the Upper School level; maintain an interest in the positive improvement and development of children, adolescents, or adults of normal and/or impaired learning ability; maintain proper discipline; establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and students. Comprehensive knowledge of: modern practices, techniques, and methods of teaching; the principles of educational testing and principles and methods of remedial education; effective means of supervision and instruction; the principles and methods of educational research.
