The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of undergraduate History courses within UNT Dallas’s History major, including core-curriculum U.S. History (2610-U.S. History to 1865, and 2620-U.S. History since 1865), Texas History Survey (2305), and World Civilization courses (1050-World Civilization I, 1060-World Civilization II), and there may be an opportunity to teach upper-level courses. Adjunct faculty members will be required to use texts and meet certain content parameters set by the Department of History. Adjunct instructors also will be required to include in their courses certain student assessment measures determined by the department, and to compile data on those assessment criteria.
