Department of HistoryJob DescriptionDevelop and manage syllabus materials using the University of Missouri-Kansas City Syllabus Generator (SG) and/or Required Syllabus Elements Templates. The adjunct instructor is responsible for selecting and compiling tests, assignments, and/or online discussion exercise that permit measurement of student performance relative to standardized learning objects and student outcomes.Submit a copy of all syllabi to the department to ensure that course(s) comply(ies) with the University of Missouri-Kansas City standards. Coordinate courseware and curriculum with academic department chair. The adjunct instructor is responsible for reviewing any textbook and other courseware changes with the academic department chair.Maintain, update, manage, and ensure accuracy of content on Canvas for all assigned courses. Utilize Canvas to effectively engage and communicate with students to supplement and support course and program learning outcomes.Maintain effective and timely student assessment and feedback.
