We are searching for creative teachers who can support these ideas as well who bring an understanding of interdisciplinary practice and an excitement for collaboration to the program.CORE consists of six courses. Three five-credit studios: Surface, Space, and Time. And three two-credit toolbox courses: Ideation, Digital Tools, and Visual Literacy.As part of Surface, Space and TIme faculty and students all meet together on Wednesdays from 11:40-12:40 each week. Titled coLAB, faculty collaborate to create sessions that introduce the students to each other, the school, the city, and the artworld. Each term culminates in a final event that can include an exhibition, a pop-up shop, a parade or even an ice cream social.As part of CORE, faculty will be asked to attend one or two compensated planning meetings each term that will support their teaching, class activities and assignments. Faculty are encouraged to teach to their strengths and while we use common syllabi, faculty create their own assignments. At the end of each term faculty are required to share their assignments and examples of student work created that term. The degree provides a comprehensive overview of skills, applications, and theories of art and design practices.Students begin with foundational courses in ideation, digital tools, and visual literacy while sampling a variety of studio courses. Elective offerings include coursework in printmaking, painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, photography, video, graphic design, and social practice. We explore the important ways cultural history both reflects and shapes society, and by incorporating different histories of the arts these connections can be made even deeper and more nuanced ways.Aspiring cultural historians not only acquire a comprehensive understanding of cultural expression but also develop analytical and critical thinking skills. They learn to interpret primary sources, examine cultural artifacts, and engage with diverse perspectives to construct nuanced narratives that capture the complexity of human societies. Department Overview:
The purpose of this position is to provide support to OHSU outpatient pharmacy specialty services and theKnight Cancer medical/surgical oncology pharmacy program. Responsibilities include prescription priorauthorization and approval, prescription dispensing, medication histories, patient outreach and medicationassistance. The individual is required to have extensive knowledge of third party processing, EpicCare andEpic Willow. This position will primarily work on VPV floors 3-7 but may be asked to work in an OHSUoutpatient pharmacy when other team members are on leave.

Function/Duties of Position:
<ul><li>Assists in all technical support activities relating to prior authorization requests and approvals.</li><li>In-charge of obtaining medication history of admitted patients age 65 and older and comprehensive understanding of medication reconciliation process.</li><li>Supports OHSU outpatient pharmacy program through activities such as prescription dispensing, patient outreach, specialty pharmacy enrollment, and refill reminders. </li><li>Provides medication assistance support to OHSU patients. Assists pharmacists in non-clinical activities, e.g. maintenance of Medication Assistance Program patient information. Receives and maintains medication assistance inventory.</li><li>Interacts with other health care team members and patients and displays a high level of customer service commitment</li><li>Triages incoming phone calls from pharmacy staff, patients, and providers</li><li>Understands billing systems (both internal and external third party) and prescription processing</li></ul>

Required Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma, active State of Oregon Pharmacy Technician License AND</li><li>1 year of pharmacy work experience, or equivalent additional education; AND</li><li>Certification from the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Health career Association. Certification must be maintained.</li></ul>Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Competencies):<ul><li>Must possess computer keyboarding skills. </li><li>Ability to read and understand medical-related terms.</li><li>Ability to perform basic pharmaceutical mathematics calculations.</li><li>Ability to establish priorities in workflow. </li><li>Good interpersonal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work under supervision of diverse Pharmacists</li><li>Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation</li></ul>

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Details:
The individual will experience competing demands on their time from clinic staff and/or patients and will need to effectively multi-task. Must be able to perform well within a team environment and work in a collaborative and cooperative manner. Must be able to deliver a consistently high level of customer service. Ability to stand/walk for 6-8 continuous hours per day. Additionally, this candidate will need to function for long periods of time using a computer terminal.
